Week Two

This week we had some very insightful discussions in class. I was quite happy to be able to hear people speak about my own values. I warms my heart to think that other people feel somehow similar to how I feel about the world. However, I realised that as individuals, we don't really get involved or do as much over issues we may be able to have impact on. Some issues raised from last week were issues I was subconsciously aware of, but did not really mind because I wasn't directly affected by these. However, now that I think of it, living in a first world country gives me a lot power to change and help others in need.
